To achieve your goals successfully, it's crucial to engage the right people at the right time. Stakeholders are key players who not only feel the impact of decisions but also have the power to steer or influence change. While some will champion your cause, others may challenge it.

Effective stakeholder engagement training equips you to bring the right people to the table and shape constructive conversations. This stakeholder engagement course gives you a deeper understanding of how decisions and interpersonal dynamics influence the implementation of your plans.

This Stakeholder Engagement course is based on experiential learning, where you will ‘learn by doing’. You will set your own learning goals, participate in exercises tailored to your situation and challenges and learn from working with other participants to address common challenges. The programme offers a diverse range of activities, including discussion, theory, practice, analysis, roleplay, feedback, reading, reflection and action planning.

Target audience

This stakeholder engagement training is for anyone who needs to engage with stakeholders and manage that process more proactively. If you are interested in enhancing your understanding of your stakeholders and gaining a fuller awareness of the dynamics at play, this course is for you. Along the way, you’ll learn to improve the impact and effectiveness of your communication when engaging with stakeholders, even in challenging situations.

Costs

Training course 

The price of this course is € 1.445,00 (excl. 21% VAT). 

Do you pay the invoice yourself? Then you automatically get a beneficial advantage. Instead of a 21% VAT charge, you only receive a 10% fee. Your course price will then be € 1.589,50.

Course material

The price for the course materials is € 71,42 (excl. VAT). You will receive:

  • Personal licence for learning environment

Facility costs

The price for the use of the accommodation, coffee/tea and an extensive lunch buffet is € 160,00 (excl. VAT). You obviously do not pay any facility costs if you choose the online course in the 'virtual class'.

Program

What does the training look like?

Your learning trajectory consists of a balanced mix of learning activities that you do during the two meetings, in the online learning environment, at work and at home. On the online learning environment you will find assignments that will help you before, during and after the program to increase your knowledge and skills and to apply them in practice.

Duration: 6 weeks

Meetings: 2 days

Time investment for self-study: approx. 2 hours per week

Training structure
 
Two sessions from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM spread over six weeks. See Dates & locations for the schedule of your training.
 
You train virtual? Then we modify the course days: a training that original takes one day, will be virtual in two days of 3,5 hours. In this way we ensure that you do not spend full days behind your screen and you stay fresh enough to absorb the information. View the schedule for your course days and times.

Participants

The maximum group size for the training course is 12 participants.

Mentor

Real learning starts with the practical application of what you have learned. You will commence several practical assignments within your own organization, selecting a mentor to supervise and stimulate your learning process - before the first meeting. The mentor could be your manager or a (senior) colleague. For more information on the mentor's role please visit www.sn.nl/mentor. After three weeks you will take your experiences in this regard to the next meeting.

Certificate

On completion of the training course and subject to attendance and active participation, Schouten & Nelissen will award a certificate. Our certificates are highly regarded in the business community.

Incompany

Are several colleagues facing the same challenge? Then in-company is the ideal option. This course or training can be organized within your organization. Our specialized sister company Relevance will develop this customized training program in cooperation with you. Relevance will then adapt the assignments and examples to the practical situation in your organization.
